Update Voter Information

If you have moved within Volusia County, or from another Florida county, you may update your address by:

• Online at RegisterToVoteFlorida.gov
• Calling our office: 386-736-5930
• In person at our office: 1588 N Woodland Blvd, DeLand, FL 32720
• Completing a Florida Voter Registration Application (Form in English / Form in Spanish)
  • Forms may be mailed or emailed (elections@volusia.gov) to our office. 

You may change party affiliation at any time, but it must be done at least 29 days before a primary election to be valid for that election. You may change your party affiliation:

• Completing a Florida Voter Registration Application (Form in English / Form in Spanish)
  • Forms may be mailed or emailed (elections@volusia.gov) to our office.

If your name has changed, you must update your voter registration record. You may do so:

It is very important to update your signature on file, as it may change throughout the years.

Your signature on your voter registration is used to verify petition, vote-by-mail ballots and provisional ballots. If your signature does not match what is on file, your petition or ballot may not count.

Please note: If you are a caregiver to someone whose signature needs to be updated for any reason, Power of Attorney cannot be accepted in place of the voter's signature or mark. For specific instructions, please contact our office.

To request a new voter information card:

• Online at RegisterToVoteFlorida.gov
  • Select the "Register or Update" button
  • Check the "Request to Replace Voter Information Card" box
  • Enter the required information
• Completing a Florida Voter Registration Application (Form in English / Form in Spanish)
  • Forms may be mailed or emailed (elections@volusia.gov) to our office. 

Must be cancelled by a written request from the voter. Written correspondence must include the voter’s signature and either the date of birth or voter registration number.

• Complete the Voter Cancellation Form ( Voter Cancellation Form - English / Voter Cancellation Form - Spanish)

A copy of a death certificate issued by a governmental agency authorized to issue death certificates must be submitted to the Supervisor of Election's office.
